NWS PTO MEETINGS

All PTO meetings will be held in the school library at 6:00 p.m. Please note: our PTO is structured so that you are already a member just by being a parent/guardian here at NWS! There are no dues or sign-ups to be a PTO member. Please join us when you can, even if it is just for one meeting! The PTO is here to build a supportive community to parents as well as supporting the school, teachers and students.

 *Please be aware if there is a change in date it will be communicated through the PTO newsletter or Parent Square message.

Common Concern:

I have so much between work, home, and getting my children to activities- I don’t know if I have time to commit to the PTO! I am overwhelmed as it is…. 

We understand, because we are in the same situation!! Coming to the meetings does NOT commit you to coming to everything and helping at every function!!! Just coming to a meeting and sharing ideas and your thoughts helps. We are working to restructure our volunteer opportunities to make things in small manageable chunks that people can fit into their lives. Like signing up to send a particular item in. Or helping at an event for just 30 minutes. We even reimburse people who purchase certain items we need for events! Please look for our communications to help in a way that fits for your life. WE are parents and overwhelmed too and cannot have events and do it all- your 30 minutes helps us to pull the event off.
